Picket Fence Studios November 2023 Release

Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope you’re having a great week!!

It’s release day for the Picket Fence Studios November Release!! There’s a fun and inspiring hop happening over on IG…I’ll pop a link to my account at the bottom of this post so you can join in the fun and possibly win a $75 GC to the Picket Fence Studios Shop!!

My first card features the Macrame Pot and Flora Dies, Scene Building Die: Falling Brick Wall and Hi Hey Hello Howdy Word Dies

I started by die-cutting all of the dies from the Macrame Pot and Flora Die Set from white cardstock. I used my Rainbow Paper Pouncers and Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the die-cuts and splattered them with white acrylic ink. Once they were dry, I adhered all of the die-cuts together with liquid glue.

For the background, I trimmed a panel of gray cardstock slightly smaller than A2 and sprayed it with Distress Oxide Spray. Once it was dry, The Scene Building: Falling Brick Wall Die was cut twice from white cardstock and adhered to the panel. I trimmed the excess from the edges and adhered it to a white card base. I die-cut an oval from vellum, then adhered it and the hanging planter to the background.

The sentiment, from the Hi Hey Hello Howdy Word Die Set, was cut from white cardstock and Distress Oxide Ink was applied with Paper Pouncers. I also die-cut another layer from white cardstock and adhered it behind the inked one, slightly offset. It was then adhered to the front of the card and a few Iridescent Moonshine Sequins finish it off.

My second card features the Another Hello There Word Die, Simple Plaid 6×8 Stencil, Wreath Building: Potted Plants Stamp Set and Momma’s Thoughts Stamp Set

I began by stamping the adorable little flower pots from the Wreath Building: Potted Plants Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copics, added dots to the centers with a yellow gel pen, then fussy cut them out.

For the background on this one, I stenciled the Simple Plaid 6×8 Stencil onto white cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks and Lifechanging Blender Brushes. I also die-cut it with the A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate Die to add some texture.

The Another Hello There Word Die was cut from white cardstock and color was added with Distress Oxide Inks using Rainbow Paper Pouncers. I die-cut two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the inked one, then adhered it to the background. The supporting sentiment, from Momma’s Thoughts Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a strip of white cardstock, then Distress Oxide Ink was added with a Paper Pouncer. The sentiment strip, along with the flower pots, were popped up with foam tape.

That’ll do it for me today!! Hop on over and join in the festivities on Instagram @mypapercutcreations. Be sure to check out the entire fabulous new release over in the Picket Fence Shop!!

Have a great week!!
