My sneak peek today features the Multi-step Cacti Stamp Set and Coordinating Confetti Cuts, This Says It All Sentiment Set, Cross Tiles Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and Background Builder Stamp Set.
I began by stamping the images from the Multi-step Cacti stamp set onto white cardstock with Copic friendly ink. The cacti were stamped with two green inks; then I added details with Copic markers and colored pencils to create more depth. All of the images were cut out with the Coordinating Confetti Cuts. I also stamped the sentiment from This Says It All with black ink, colored it with Copics and trimmed into a strip. I matted it with black cardstock to help it stand out from the background.
Next, I went to work on my background. I die-cut the Cross Tiles Cover Panel Confetti Cuts three times from white cardstock and stacked them together for dimension. Now, I LOVE a white tone-on-tone background, but I thought I would change it up a bit. I used Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade to stamp the dots from the Background Builder Stamp Set onto my white cardbase, then adhered my stacked Cross Tile panel over it.
All of the planters and cacti were popped up onto the panel with foam adhesive, as was the sentiment strip.
