Reverse Confetti – Stock Your Stash – Oh Baby!

Hello, my friends!! Today I’m participating in the Stock Your Stash Challenge from Reverse Confetti as a ‘Fetti Friend!! I am always on a quest to stock up my stash of cards and this month’s theme is one that definitely needs my attention…Oh Baby! You can also participate in the challenge by uploading it on the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Blog Post!!

Let’s get to my card, shall we?

I began by stamping the butterfly, flowers and leaves from the Stained Glass Butterfly Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink. After coloring them with Copics, I cut them out with the Stained Glass Butterfly Confetti Cuts.

For the background, I die-cut the Cross Tiles Cover Panel Confetti Cut from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of yellow cardstock. The sentiment, from Best Sentiments, was stamped onto white cardstock with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink and cut out with a Three Tags Confetti Cut. I die-cut the tag two more times from black cardstock and adhered it behind the white tag. All of the elements were adhered with foam tape, attaching the butterfly only at the center to allow the wings to pop up!

Adding some sparkle to the butterfly and flowers with a glimmer pen was the final finishing touch!!

Although I had a baby card in mind, this could really be used for any occasion that deserves a big congrats!!

  1. Very appropriate for the occasion. The butterfly just has a soothing soft effect on the overall appearance of the card to me. The soft colours are just the right shade. Congratulations on joining the Reverse Confetti team, no wonder you’ve been extra busy now.
