Hello and happy Monday, crafters!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! I’m sharing another card featuring the Lush Peony Press + Foil Plate from Alex Syberia Designs!! One of the things that I LOVE about these plates is the versatility!! You can ink them up, hot foil them or use them to create an impression!! I decided to foil my bouquet today with my favorite matte gold foil!!

I started by hot foiling the Lush Peony Press + Foil Plate onto a panel of white cardstock with matte gold foil using the Glimmer System. I added color with dye inks and blending brushes using the Lush Peonies Bouquet Stencil Set, then fussy cut it out. A yellow gel pen was used to add dots to the centers of the flowers.

For the background, the largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set was cut from white cardstock. I die-cut the frame in the Bow Ho Ho Frame Die Set from bright pink cardstock and adhered it to the background panel, along with the bouquet, with liquid glue.

I tied white and metallic gold baker’s twine around the panel and tied it into a bow. The sentiment, from the Essential Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set was also hot foiled using the Glimmer System onto white cardstock with matte gold foil. It was die-cut with the included die, along with another layer from bright pink cardstock. They were adhered together with liquid glue, slightly offset, then popped up with foam squares. I added a few metallic gold baubles to finish off the card.

I love the bright pinks and greens with the gold!!
