Sending Spring Greetings – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I hope you’re all doing well!! I have a soft, Spring card to share today featuring the Lovely Layers: Rabbit Honey Cuts, along with a few other products from the Honey Bee Stamps Celebrate Release!!

I began by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Rabbit Honey Cuts from cream cardstock. I added some shading with Beeluxe Blending Brushes and dye inks. Then I used my finger to apply more ink so the embossed lines were more visible. I also used Copic markers to add a bit more texture to the die-cuts and a black fine-line marker to add detail to the mouth and nose, then adhered all the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue.

Next, I stenciled the Storybook Spring Stencil Set onto white cardstock with dye inks and Beeluxe Blending Brushes. Once the ink was dry, I stamped over the images with light brown dye ink using the Storybook Spring Stamp Set. The Coordinating Dies were used to cut them out.

The Layering Vintage Label Dies were cut from white cardstock and a piece of pattern paper from the Let’s Party Paper Pad. I layered them over an A2 panel of the soft green leaf pattern paper, then adhered the floral swag with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment is also from the Storybook Spring Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiment, bunny and bee were all popped up with foam tape. I added glossy accents to the rabbit’s eyes. Once that was dry, I added a dot to the center of each eye with a white gel pen, as well as the centers of the pink flowers. A small pom-pom from my stash (also available in the shop here) was adhered to the bunny’s bum to finish off the card.

I just adore that sweet bunny!!

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
