Sending Sunshine and Rainbows – Honey Bee

Hello, Honey Bee friends!! Happy Tuesday, on on what seems like a Monday!! I can’t believe it’s the last day of May!!

I have another card to share using the new Honey Bee Stamps products from the Rainbow Dreams Mini Release!! When I die-cut the rainbow for my card for the Instagram Hop on Saturday, I had a lot of stripes left over, so this card came together pretty quickly!! I just can’t get enough of these rainbow shaped cards!!

I began by die-cutting the card base from heavyweight white cardstock using the Rainbow Builder A2 Card Base Die Set. I also die-cut the clouds from white cardstock using the same set.

After I die-cut the rainbow for my earlier card using the Rainbow Accents Honey Cut Set, I saved a couple of the negative cardstock pieces. I placed the stripes back into the negative piece and stamped them with Bee Creative Embossing Ink using the Rainbow Dreams Stamp Set. I sprinkled on some white embossing powder and heated them with a heat tool until melted. I adhered the stripes, along with the clouds, to the front of my card base with Bee Creative Glue. The sun was cut from yellow and orange cardstock using the Rainbow Builder A2 Card Base Honey Cuts. I also cut the outer layer from heavyweight white cardstock, adhered them together for more stability, then added it to the back of the card base with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the Look For The Rainbow Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up onto the rainbow with foam adhesive. Lots of Aurora Borealis Gem Stickers complete the card and add a ton of shine!!

I still have lots of rainbow stripes left for even more cards!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
