Hello, crafty friends!! I’m sharing a fun picnic card featuring more goodies from the Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Picnic Release!! Also, today is the final day of the Summer Clearance Sale!! Save 25% on over 2300 products, including retiring and clearance items!!
I started by blending Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a panel of white cardstock using the Picnic Blanket Builder Stencil Set and blending brushes. It was die-cut with the blanket die in the Lovely Layers: Perfect Picnic Die Set, along with another from white cardstock. I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto the fringe of the white blanket, trimmed the fringe off the plaid one and adhered them together with Bee Creative Glue. The grass patterned paper from the Summer Picnic Paper Pad was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. The blanket was adhered on a diagonal with Bee Creative Glue and the excess fringe was trimmed from the edges.
Next, I die-cut all the elements for my picnic from yellow, pink, cream, green, dark red, white and frosted silver cardstock using the Lovely Layers; Perfect Picnic Die Set. I used the following Distress Inks to add color and shading using detail blending brushes: Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw, Kitsch Flamingo, Rustic Wilderness, Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass. The flowers from the Picnic Blanket Builder Stencil Set were stenciled onto the napkin with Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. All the elements were adhered together, then adhered to the blanket with a combination of Bee Creative Glue and foam squares. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.
The sentiment, from the Stacked With Joy Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with pink dye ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares to finish off the card.
