Happy weekend, friends!! I’m sharing a snow globe shaped card featuring goodies from Scrappy Tails Crafts today!!

I started by die-cutting the round die with the stem twice from white cardstock, the round snow background from blue cardstock, the snow globe base from tan and brown cardstock and the snow bank from white glitter cardstock using the Large Circular Snow Globe Add-On Metal Die Set. I added shading around the blue layer with blue dye inks and a blending brush, then splattered it with diluted white ink. I added Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the base by dragging the ink pad directly across the die-cut. All of the layers were adhered together with liquid glue. I scored the tab on the second white die-cut, flipped it around and adhered it to the top on the back of the snow globe to create a flap for the back of the card.

(I also die-cut another snow globe base from white cardstock and adhered it to the back to clean up the back side of the card front.)

All of the die-cuts for the scene were cut from two shades of blue, two shades of green, pale yellow, red, two shades of gray, frosted silver and white glitter cardstock using the Snow Globe Victorian Christmas House Add-On Die Set. They were adhered to the snow globe using liquid glue. I added some silver holographic stars to the tops of my Christmas trees.

The sentiment is included in the Large Circular Snow Globe Add-On Die Set. It was cut from frosted silver and red cardstock and adhered with liquid glue. The bow is from the A7 Small Moving Podium Base Die Set. It was cut from red cardstock and the center of the bow was adhered to the base, also using liquid glue.

I love how this turned out!! You can create a moving podium base with these products, but I decided to make a 5″x7″ flat, shaped card.
