So Incredibly Kind of You – Trinity Stamps

Good morning, crafty friends!! I am all about stretching your stamps to get the most from your supplies!! Today’s card for Trinity Stamps is a perfect example of that!!

So-Incredibly-Kind-of-You-1

As I was looking at the Succulent Sparkle stamp set, one of the flowers resembled a dahlia to me. Upon closer inspection, another looked like a rose…so I decided to color them as flowers instead of succulents! I stamped the all of the succulents from the Succulent Sparkle stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I pulled out most of my pink and pinkish-purple Copics and colored the images, then fussy cut them out. (The Coordinating Dies are available, but I don’t have them yet.) For the background, I ink blended Distress Oxide Inks (Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Milled Lavender) onto Bristol paper, starting with the darker color in the upper right corner and blending out to the lightest in the lower left. I splattered the panel with water and picked up the excess with a paper towel. I also splattered on some Perfect Pearls mixed with water. The “flowers” were positioned in the upper right corner and glued together so I could pop them up with foam adhesive. The ones that hung off the edges were trimmed away. The greeting, from the Kind Senti-Mini stamp set (which was a free gift with purchase), was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, fussy cut and trimmed into strips. It was also adhered with foam adhesive. I added some highlights to the “flowers” with a white gel pen. Finally, Grape Juice Iridescent Confetti Mix was the perfect finishing touch!!
