Hello, friends and happy Wednesday!! I recently had the pleasure of working with the stunning Anemone Blooms Collection from Spellbinders designed by the oh-so-talented Yana Smakula!! I LOVE everything Yana designs and this collection doesn’t disappoint!! I have three cards to share with you today!!

My first card combines the Anemones Etched Dies with sentiments from the Anemone Glimmer Blooms Hot Foil and Die Set and the Wonderful Script Sentiment Die Set.

I embossed the detail die onto white cardstock using an embossing mat, then colored it with Copics. The embossing allowed me to see where to place the colors for the flowers. Then I cut it out with the same die. The outline die was cut from light gray cardstock.

“Hello” is from the Wonderful Script Sentiments Die Set and “friend” is from the Anemone Glimmer Blooms Hot Foil and Die Set. The top layer was cut from Pink Sand cardstock and the bottom layer twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The background was embossed with the January Embossing Folder of the Month and adhered with the debossed side up.

My next card features the Anemone Glimmer Blooms Hot Foil and Die Set and the Hello, Friend Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates with a die from the Wonderful Script Sentiments Die Set.

This die set not only cuts the die-cut sentiments, it cuts the foiled sentiments too!! So much versatility in this collection!! I foiled the floral and sentiments onto Glimmer Specialty Cardstock with Matte Gold Foil, colored the anemones with Copic markers, then die-cut them out.

I die-cut three more layers of heavyweight white cardstock and layered them behind the foiled one.

I used the same January Embossing Folder for the background on this one. It was embossed onto Purple Mist cardstock. The floral and die-cut sentiment were adhered with liquid glue and the sentiment strips were popped up with foam tape.

My final card is a bit on the dramatic side! It also combines the Anemone Glimmer Blooms Hot Foil and Die Set and the Hello, Friend Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate with a die from the Wonderful Script Sentiments Die Set.

This time I foiled the anemone bouquet onto opposite corners of a panel of black glossy cardstock with Matte Gold Foil. I trimmed the sides a bit and adhered it to a panel of Brushed Gold Cardstock.

I adhered three more layers of black cardstock behind the “beautiful” die-cut and adhered it to the foiled panel.

The sentiment strips were matted with Brushed Gold Cardstock and adhered with foam tape.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with this collection!! You know how much I love flowers!!
