Spellbinders April Stamp of the Month

Hello, friends!! Happy Easter!! I hope you’ve got plans to spend Easter with family today!

I have a card to share with you today using the April Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders!! I couldn’t resist the candles in the set, but there is also a vine with some florals you can stamp in this wave pattern!! Plus, it coordinates so well with April’s Large Die of the Month Kit!! You are going to need them both!!

I began by stamping candles from the April Stamp of the Month onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and shaded them with colored pencils. I die-cut the image on both sides with the pierced curve die from the April Large Die of the Month Kit.

For the background, I ink blended Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of bristol smooth cardstock.

I trimmed a panel of black cardstock to go under the candle die-cut and figured out the placement for the sentiment, then white heat embossed it onto the panel.

Everything was adhered to a top-folding note card and that’s it!

I love how the curved candles and pierced wave dies add so much interest to the card!

If you would like to get your own Stamp of the Month sent to you every month, you can get more info HERE.
