Hello, friends and Happy New Year!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the January 2022 Large Die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders. I love interactive cards!! This month’s kit creates a pocket in an unusual shape with an insert that fits perfectly and pulls out to reveal your sentiment and personal message!! It all fits in an A2 envelope…perfect for Valentine’s Day, but could totally be used for other occasions throughout the year!

I began by using the dies in the January 2022 Large Die of the Month Kit to cut the front and back of the pocket from red cardstock and adhered them together with strong adhesive.

I die-cut the intricate layer from white cardstock and adhered it to the front of the pocket with liquid glue. The flower parts were die-cut from green, pink and red cardstock, then adhered, as shown.

Next, I die-cut the insert from pink and white cardstock. The heart portion was cut from pink, white and red cardstock and adhered to the top of the insert.

I stamped the sentiment, from the January 2022 Stamp of the Month, onto the front of the insert with red ink. I added lots of sparkle with some pink adhesive gems and I was finished!!
