Spellbinders Joyful Christmas Collection by Simon Hurley

Hello, friends!! Thank you so much for dropping by today!!

I have a couple of holiday cards to share featuring the Spellbinders Joyful Christmas Collection designed by Simon Hurley!! The Halftone Holiday Stamp Set is amazing!! The shading is done for you, so it’s a breeze to color!! The stamp set is available alone or as a bundle with the coordinating dies!!

I stamped the images from the Halftone Holiday Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut the Candy Stripes Etched Dies from white cardstock. I weaved the off-cuts to create a diamond plaid background and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base.

The sentiment was foiled and cut out using the Joyful Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set on Glimmer Specialty Cardstock with Moondust Foil. The pine branches were adhered with liquid glue, while the ornaments and sentiment were popped up with foam tape. I added some Spectrum AB Color Essential Gems to the ornaments and this one was finished!

My second card features the poinsettia from the Halftone Holiday Stamps and Die Set.

I stamped the poinsettias, holly and leaves with Copic-friendly black ink, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I used the Candy Stripes Etched Dies again for the background, only this time I didn’t weave in the off-cut pieces. It was adhered to a white, top-folding card base. The leaves were adhered with liquid glue and the poinsettias were popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment was once again foiled onto Glimmer Cardstock using the Joyful Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set and Matte Gold Foil. It was adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. I added some Aura AB Color Essential Gems to the centers of the poinsettias for the finishing touch.

Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me! Have a wonderful Wednesday and I’ll see you soon!!
