Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I can’t believe it’s August already!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the August 2022 Large Die of the Month Kit, “Strawberry Patch”, from Spellbinders. Is there anything better than fresh strawberries on a hot summer day? I’ve also used the August 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month for the background and the August Small Die of the Month Kit for the sentiment.

I began by die-cutting all of the elements from red, aqua, yellow, light green, dark green and white cardstock using the August 2022 Large Die of the Month Kit. The sentiment was cut from aqua and white cardstock using the August Small Die of the Month Kit.

For the background, I embossed a panel of white cardstock with the August 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month and trimmed it slightly smaller than A2. I adhered it to an A2 panel of aqua cardstock with the debossed side up, then a top-folding white card base.

The strawberry basket was assembled and attached to the front of the card with liquid adhesive. The leaves were added to the top of the card and the excess was trimmed away. The die-cut sentiment was popped up with foam adhesive. I added some Spectrum AB Color Essential Gems to the centers of the flowers for a bit of bling!!

I love this color combo!!
