Spellbinders June 2023 Large Die of the Month & Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Club Kits

Hello, crafty friends and happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I attended a crafty retreat with around 100 other women (& a couple of men) and had a wonderful time!! It’s so nice to meet crafty friends in person that you’ve only met online!!

I have two cards to share today featuring a couple of June 2023 club kits from Spellbinders…the Large Die of the Month, “Whale In A Bottle” and the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, “Water You Up To?”!! Let’s start with the Large Die of the Month!! This is such a fabulous die set…perfect for summer!!

I began by die-cutting all of the pieces of my jar scene using the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders cardstock. I used Silver Fox, Glacier, Waterfall, Lagoon, Blue Spruce, Onyx, Fruit Punch, Snow Drift, Lunar Gray, Timber, Latte, Rainforest and Fern.

The sentiment was stamped onto the Glacier die-cut with Versafine Onyx Black Ink using a stamp from the June 2023 Clear Stamp of the Month. The entire scene was arranged and adhered together with liquid glue. I die-cut another base from heavyweight white cardstock, scored it about 1/2″ from the top and adhered it to the front panel, adding adhesive only above the score line.

For the bubbles, I adhered lots of Bubble Blow Out Embellishments from Trinity Stamps and even added one to the whale’s eye.

My second card today features the June 2023 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kit

For this one, I stamped the images from the Clear Stamp & Die kit onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink, colored them with Copics, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

For the background, I embossed the June 2023 Embossing Folder of the Month onto a panel of Waterfall cardstock. I wanted the embossed pattern to stand out more, so I ran a brayer coated with white pigment ink over it until I achieved the result that I wanted. I trimmed a panel of white cardstock and used Distress Oxide Inks (Antique Linen and Vintage Photo) the create the bottom of the ocean floor.

The coral and seaweed die-cut was adhered with liquid glue and the others were all popped up with foam tape. I added the Bubble Blow Out Embellishments on this card also for a little shine. They are just perfect for underwater scenes!!

That does it for me today!!

If you are a subscriber, I hope that I have provided some inspiration for your kits!! If not, be sure to check out all of the other Club Kits from Spellbinders!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great week!!
