Spellbinders June Card Kit of the Month

Good morning!! I have six cards to share with you today using the June Card Kit of the Month, Life is a Party, from Spellbinders!! Look at everything that is included in this month’s kit!!

What a fantastic kit!! The first thing that jumped out at me was the colors…OMG!!! I spread out all of my goodies and got to work!!!

Here is my first card…

I trimmed down a sheet of patterned paper, added the adorable pre-printed die-cuts and a couple of chipboard stickers and called it a day!! Easy peasy!!

My second…

I pulled out several pre-printed die-cuts that matched my sheet of patterned paper. After trimming the paper to 4.25 X 5.5, i added the die-cuts and a chipboard sticker, popping a couple of the die-cuts up with foam squares. I added a trip of iridescent sequins to finish off this one!!

My third card …

This card was pretty much created the same way…pre-printed die-cuts, a chipboard sticker and a few sequins! The foam squares give it plenty of dimension for interest.

Here’s my fourth card…

I fell in love with these polygon shapes!! I adhered them to a sheet of patterned paper in a graphic arrangement. I used the foam alphabet stickers for the sentiment and added pre-printed die-cut hearts and a gold chipboard heart to finish it off!

Let’s take a look at my fifth card…

I began by adding strips of the mirrored cardstock to a cardbase and adhered the rainbow patterned paper on top. The frame and tassels were adhered and the cake was popped up in the center with foam squares. The chipboard sticker was the perfect finishing touch for this festive invite!!

OK…my sixth and final card….

Aren’t these die-cut flowers amazing! I die-cut the flowers from some of the different colors of the included cardstock and cut the solid images from the mirrored cardstock. The flowers were backed with the mirrored cardstock, allowing the mirrored paper to show through the openings. I matted a panel of patterned paper to the mirrored and navy cardstock, then arranged the flowers in opposite corners. A pre-printed die-cut served as my sentiment and a sprinkling of sequins was the final touch!!

That’s it!! I could not stop with this amazing kit and can’t wait to create more festive cards with it…especially those die-cut flowers!!
