Hello there!! I am excited to be guest posting on the Spellbinders Blog today!! I have three cards to share that showcase the Royal Flourish Glimmer Collection by Becca Feeken!!

I absolutely love the Super Chill Paper Pad that was included with this month’s Card Kit of the Month. I wanted to pair the floral and butterfly patterns that are included in that paper pad with these foil plates.

I started by hot foiling the largest of the Imperial Adorned Ovals Glimmer Hot Foil Plates onto a floral paper from the Super Chill Paper Pad with Pink Foil. I fussy cut around the foiled oval and adhered it to a striped patterned paper from the same paper pad.

I also foiled the Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Classic Plates with the pink foil onto pink cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. Several flowers and leaves were cut from coordinating cardstock with the February Large Die of the Month.

Both the sentiment die-cut and the flowers and leaves were popped up with foam adhesive. An enamel dot was added to the center of each flower.

My second project is a thank you card…

I began by foiling the largest plate from The Contessa’s Seal Panel Hot Foil Plate onto the butterfly patterned paper from the Super Chill Paper Pad and the oval onto pale aqua cardstock with Pewter Foil. I fussy cut both images and adhered the image to a panel of pale aqua cardstock.

The greeting, from the Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Classic Plates, was also foiled onto pale aqua cardstock with pewter foil and cut out with the coordinating die. I used a die from the A Little Birdie – Small Die of the Month to cut a label from glitter paper.

The label and the die-cut greeting were adhered to the foiled oval. After adhering a strip of glitter paper across the panel, the oval was popped up with foam adhesive.

My third and final card…

SB-Royal-Flourish-7WM

For this one, I foiled the Petite Looking Glass Frame Glimmer Hot Foil Plate onto another floral paper from the Super Chill Paper Pad using polished brass foil and fussy cut around it.

It was then adhered to a striped paper from the same paper pad and matted with coral cardstock that matched the flowers in the floral pattern. The greeting was also foiled in polished brass using the Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Classic Plates and cut out the with included die.

I die-cut the same die from gold mirror cardstock and adhered the two together, before popping the sentiment up with foam adhesive. Lastly a few gold confetti pieces were adhered around the foiled frame.
