Spring Blessings – Honey Bee

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I am longing for Spring here in the Midwest!! With sunnier weather and warmer temperatures comes FLOWERS!! I have pulled out some of my favorite Honey Bee floral stamps to use over the next few weeks!!

My card today features the stunning Everything Wonderful stamp set designed in collaboration with Emily Midgett!!

I stamped the Everything Wonderful floral image onto watercolor paper with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink and colored it with Tombow markers. I also added details with colored pencils, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die.

I wanted a tone-on-tone look for my background, so I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the Hexagon Coverplate Die – Top. Then I lined it up with the Stipple Coverplate Die and ran it back through my die-cut machine to add the tiny dots for more texture. I adhered the hexagon die-cut to an A2 size cardbase.

I die-cut the greeting from pink & white cardstock and pink vellum using the Spring Honey Cuts. “Blessings” is from the Spring stamp set. It was white heat embossed onto a pink cardstock strip.

The die-cuts and sentiment strip were all adhered with foam adhesive. I added a single Hug Me clay heart under the sentiment strip and called it done!!

What about you? What’s the weather like where you live? Are you craving Spring like I am??

Thanks for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!!

  1. Girl, this card is GORGEOUS! As far as the weather, winter has been WEIRDO here in Texas. I live in San Antonio and we have had a mild winter, which is usual, but not this mild. We have had really warm days like in the 80’s and then the next day, we will be in the mid-40’s. The past few days it has been warm and humid and now it will be “cold” the next few days. CRAZY.
