Spring Blossoms Birthday Card – Honey Bee

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope this post finds you all safe and healthy!! On the bright side, this gives some of us more crafty time, right?

I am back with another floral card for Honey Bee today, hoping spring will get here soon!!

This time, I broke out a floral stamp set that I haven’t used in a long time…Spring Blossoms. I LOVE the blooms in this set!! They are large enough that there is plenty of space to layer colors, but not so much that they’re overwhelming!!

I’m loving the Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers lately!! The colors are so vibrant!! I stamped the blooms and leaves from Spring Blossoms onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with InkOn3 FadeOut Ink, watercolored them with Karin Markers and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. A yellow gel pen adds some detail to the stamen.

I wanted a tone-on-tone background panel and achieved that by cutting the Watercolor Lines Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over another panel of white cardstock. The flowers were arranged and adhered coming out of the bottom left corner, trimming off the excess that hung off the edges.

The “Happy Birthday” sentiment was created by white heat embossing “happy” onto purple cardstock with the Happy Birthday Stamp Set and die-cutting “birthday” from purple and white cardstock with the Happy Birthday Honey Cuts. The sentiment strip and die-cut were popped up with foam adhesive. A sprinkling of Bokeh Lights Confetti was the perfect finishing touch!!

That’ll do it for me today!!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Are you getting in some extra crafty time during these crazy days?
