Spring Joy Bouquet – Honey Bee

Hello, crafty friends!! Spring is definitely in the air in the Midwest and I couldn’t be happier!! I can’t wait until next month when I can plant some flowers!! Until then, expect to see a lot of florals coming from my craft room!!

I absolutely LOVE the Spring Joy Bouquet Stamp Set from Honey Bee Stamps and wanted to color it in soft colors!!

I began by stamping the stunning bouquet in the Spring Joy Bouquet Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring it with Copics, I cut it out with the Coordinating Die.

For the background, I trimmed the gray floral patterned paper from the Playful Pastels Paper Pad slightly smaller than A2 and layered it over an A2 size panel of purple cardstock. I cut the frame from white cardstock using the Wood Frame Builder Honey Cuts. I die-cut a white cardstock panel using the Quatrefoil A2 Cover Plate – Top Dies and trimmed it to fit under my frame. The quatrefoil die-cut was adhered to a purple ombre panel of patterned paper, also from the Playful Pastels Paper Pad. The frame die-cuts were popped up on foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Old Rugged Cross Stamp Set, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiment and bouquet were both adhered with a combination of Bee Creative Precision Glue and foam adhesive.

I really love all of the layers and the soft colors on this card!! I have been on a purple kick lately and I don’t see it stopping any time soon!!

Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
