Happy Friday, friends!! I’m sharing a card today featuring several goodies from the latest Papertrey Ink release!! I think I need to send this card to myself right now…I’m dealing with some things in my personal life right now that are pretty tough.

I began by creating the background using the Brushstrokes Stencil Set. I layered Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Green Parakeet and Hawaiian Shores inks onto a panel of Stamper’s Select White cardstock, applying the the inks with blending brushes. I diluted a bit of True Black ink and splattered it onto the background with a paint brush. The panel was trimmed slightly, True Black Baker’s Twine was wrapped around it and tied it into a bow, then the panel was adhered to an A2 panel of True Black cardstock.

The “Strength” sentiment, from the This Is Big Sentiments: Strength Stamp Set, was stamped onto Stamper’s Select White cardstock with True Black ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers and adhered them behind the stamped one. The middle die in the Love to Layer: Top Notch Die Set was cut from vellum. The supporting sentiment, from the same stamp set, was stamped onto the vellum die-cut with Versamark ink and heat embossed with detail white embossing powder. The “Strength” sentiment was adhered above it with liquid glue.

I added liquid glue to the back of the vellum, behind the die-cut sentiment only, and adhered it to the background. A few Moonstone Sequins finish off the card and add a bit of shine. The ones in the lower, right corner also gave me a spot to add a bit of liquid glue to the back of the vellum to help hold it down.

I hope if you’re going through something difficult right now as well, that this gives you a bit of strength and encouragement to get through it!!
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you soon!!
