Sweet Wishes On Your Birthday – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I’m sharing a freshly picked birthday card featuring some of the images and sentiments from the Picked With Love Stamp Set from the latest Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Picnic Release!!

I began by stamping the images from the Picked With Love Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. If coloring isn’t your thing, there’s also a Coordinating Stencil available. I added some dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen.

For the background, I die-cut the red gingham cardstock from the Summer Picnic Paper Pad with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. I trimmed a panel of yellow cardstock slightly smaller than A2, then adhered both panels to a white A2 card base. The scalloped rectangle, from the Decorative Star Layering Frames Die Set, was cut from another piece of patterned cardstock from the same paper pad and adhered to the center with liquid glue.

The sentiments, also from the Picked With Love Stamp Set, were stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, then cut out with their Coordinating Dies. I also die-cut one more of each from red cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped one, slightly offset. The strawberries, flowers and sentiments were all popped up with foam squares. Gems from the Let’s Party Gem Sticker Pack were the perfect finishing touch.

That’s it for me today!! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!!
