Thanks Slimline Card – Crafty Meraki

Hello, crafters!! I hope you’re all doing well!! I have a slimline thank you card to share today for Crafty Meraki!! I don’t create slimline cards very often, but when I do, I fall in love with them all over again!!

I started by trimming the floral patten paper from the Watercolor Whimsy Paper Pack slightly smaller than slimline size. The thin blue and white striped pattern paper is from the same Watercolor Whimsy Paper Pack. I die-cut it with the largest die in the Timeless Frames Die Set and adhered it with liquid glue along the top and bottom of the panel, trimming off the excess. The panel was adhered to a white slimline card base.

Next, I die-cut the tag and the sentiment using the Thanks Slimline Die Set. The tag was cut from vellum and the sentiment from the tiny heart pattern paper in the Watercolor Whimsy Paper Pack. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the pattern paper layer, slightly offset. It was adhered to the vellum tag with liquid glue, then to the background, adding adhesive only behind the die-cut.

I added a bit of polka dot ribbon through the hole in the tag and tied a bow using pink and white twine.

That’s it!! Easy peasy!! I love the way these pattern papers are so easy to mix-and-match to create this soft, floral thank you card!!

Thanks so much for dropping by!! Have a wonderful day!!
