Hello, crafters!! I wanted to share a little inspiration with the Wrapped In Blooms Christmas In July Card Kit from Honey Bee Stamps that isn’t a holiday card!! Simply add a Lovely Layer Floral Die Set and a different sentiment and you have a beautiful card ready for just about any occasion!!

I started by die-cutting the floral and leaves in the Wrapped In Blooms Kit from the aqua and white cardstock included in the kit. The flowers and foliage from Lovely Layers: Peony Die Set were die-cut from the pink and mint cardstock, also included in the kit. I used dye inks and blending brushes to add shading to all the die-cuts, then adhered the together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut the large rectangle in the kit from mint cardstock and the intricate rectangle from white cardstock. The die that is used as the flap in the kit was cut from the blush cardstock and I applied ink with two colors of pink dye ink and the Wrapped In Blooms Stencil. The belly band was cut from the darker pink cardstock and I trimmed a narrow strip of the aqua cardstock to bridge the seam between the two. The scored edge of the decorative flap was trimmed off and the belly band strip width was also trimmed in half. All of the pieces were adhered to the background panel with Bee Creative Glue and the excess was trimmed from the edges. The leaves and flowers were arranged and adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the Heart Of Our Family, was stamped onto white cardstock with yellow dye ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares, adding a double layer where needed. I sprinkled on some sequins from the kit to finish off the card.
