Day 4 is all about packaged treats!! I decided to use the Slimline Envelope Builder and Slimline Envelope Builder Add-on Die Set to create a box for my delicious treat!!

I began by die-cutting the parts for my box from heavyweight white cardstock using the Slimline Envelope Builder and Slimline Envelope Builder Add-on Die Set. After reinforcing all the folds with a bone folder, I adhered it all together.

To decorate the box, I applied Trinity Teal, Sweet Petunia Pink, Goddess Green and Marilyn Red Atelier Inks with Blending Buddy Brushes onto a panel of white cardstock using the Tree of Lights Stencil Set. I stamped snowflakes from the Christmas Magic Stamp Set around the tree with the same inks. The scalloped frame was die-cut from the teal polka-dot patterned paper in the Holiday Trimmings Slimline Patterned Paper Pack with the frame in the Slimline Envelope Builder Set. I adhered the frame to stenciled panel with foam adhesive, then after adhering some polka-dot ribbon lengthwise around the box, I adhered the panel to the box.

The sentiment, from Tree-mendous Christmas, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock strips and popped up with foam tape. The tags are one of several surprise gifts available with an order of $20 or more!! The bottom one was cut from the same teal patterned paper, while the top one was die-cut from white cardstock and stamped with the same snowflakes and inks as the background. I tied them onto the ribbon with some teal and white striped twine from my stash.

I filled my box with some individually wrapped, chocolate covered pretzel rods. If your treats aren’t individually packaged, you could either place them in a plastic bag before inserting them into the box or simply wrap the box in cellophane and tie it up with a pretty bow.

I can think of so many great uses for this box!! You could even use it for small gifts, such as gloves, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, etc. How about you? What would you use this box for?

Thanks for joining me for Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas!! Don’t forget to leave a comment on the Trinity Blog for your chance to win one of those generous gift cards!!

Have a great weekend!!
