Hello again, friends!! I have a fun moving platform pop-up card to share today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! There’s a Christmas in July Snow Globe Kit available that includes two platform pop-ups with lots of elements to create lots of snow globe scenes!! You can also purchase the products separately. My card today features the A7 Small Moving Podium Base Die Set, Tall Arch Snow Globe Add-on Dies and the Snow Globe Large Traditional Snowman Add-on Set!! These moving platforms are so unique and original!!

I began by die-cutting the snowman from the Snow Globe Large Traditional Snowman Add-on Set from red, green, orange, brown, black and white cardstock. I blended a bit of Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks onto the white parts of the snowman and used dark red dye inks to add shading to the hat and scarf. I adhered all the pieces together with liquid glue.

Next, I die-cut the Tall Arch Snow Globe Add-on Dies from blue, white and two shades of brown cardstock. I added a bit of shading to the snow bank with the same Distress Inks that I used on the snowman and added shading to the brown base pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The blue background piece was shaded with a couple of shades of blue dye ink. The sentiment was cut once from red cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. I shaded the bottom of the red layer with darker red dye ink, then stacked and adhered the layers together, slightly offset. The snowman was adhered to the background with liquid glue.

The pieces for the base were die-cut from dark brown cardstock using the A7 Small Moving Podium Base Die Set. I followed Sabrina’s YouTube tutorial to assemble the base and adhered everything together. I did die-cut a couple of holly and berry clusters from green and red cardstock using dies from the Snow Globe Large Traditional Snowman Add-on Set. Snowflakes were added to the background and red gems were added over the berries on the snowman’s hat and next to the sentiment.

The podium pulls up to lat flat to fit inside an envelope and when you pop it down and it stands up nicely for display.

Isn’t that fun?!? I can’t wait to create more of these platform cards for the holidays!! They are so different from a typical card!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday!!
