Hello again, crafters!! I’m sharing a sweet celebration card featuring the Milkshake Glass Die Set from the Scrap Diva Designs August release today!!

I began by die-cutting all of the pieces for my milkshake from white cardstock using the Milkshake Glass Die Set. I added color and shading with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Lumberjack Plaid, Lost Shadow and Vintage Photo Distress Inks using blending brushes. All the pieces were adhered together with liquid glue.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the Our Groovy Summer Paper Pad to A2 size. I die-cut the same patterned paper with the smallest stitched rectangle die in the Romantic Rectangles Die Set. A panel of periwinkle cardstock was die-cut with the largest stitched rectangle die in the same die set and the smallest ornate rectangle die in that set was cut from white cardstock. All the layers were layered and adhered together with liquid glue, then the milkshake was adhered, also using liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the You’re So Extra Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped one, then adhered it across the glass with liquid glue. I finished off the card by adding some highlights with a white gel pen and some Teenie Tiny Clay Sprinkles.
