Hello, crafty friends and Happy Mother’s Day!! I have a flat shaker card to share with you for Picket Fence Studios!!

I began by die-cutting the A2 Trees Silhouette Cover Plate Die from black cardstock. I created a shaker pocket using a Shaker Sheet, added a panel of black cardstock and lots of Summer Rainbow Embellishments, then sealed the pocket with strong adhesive. It was adhered to a white card base and the tree silhouette die-cut was adhered to the front of the shaker pocket.

The sentiment is from the Oval Fence Slimline Die Set. It was cut once from blue glitter cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together, then added to the front of the card.

That’s it! Flat shakers are so simple to make and easier to mail than traditional shaker cards, since they are relatively flat. Plus, who doesn’t love a shaker?
