Hello, friends and happy Wednesday!! I hope your week is going well!! I’m sharing a tunnel pop-up card featuring some goodies from the latest Good Fortune Release from Scrappy Tails Crafts!!

I started by constructing the tunnel frames and back panel of my card by die-cutting the pieces Japanese Cherry Blossom Square Tunnel Pop Up Card Die Set from light blue cardstock. I added Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink onto the back panel to create some variation in the sky. The die-cuts were folded along the score lines and the folds were reinforced with a bone folder.

The elements in the Japanese Cherry Blossom Torii Gate Add-on Die Set were cut from blue, light pink, brown, gray and two shades of green cardstock. I added details and shading with Copic markers, adhered everything together with liquid glue, then added it to the center layer of the tunnel.

The frogs and sentiment in the Pond Frogs Die Set were cut from light and dark pink, light yellow, black and two shades of green cardstock. I added detail with Copic markers and a white gel pen, then adhered them all together and added them to the front of the tunnel. I added a strip of thick acetate to the sentiment and adhered it to the center layer so it would “float” in the open area.

All the tunnel layers and back panel were adhered to the side pieces with a combination of double sided adhesive and liquid glue and this 3D card was finished.

You can really see all the layers and dimension in this photo!!

Plus, it folds flat to fit in a 5″ x 7″ envelope!!
That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for dropping by!! Have a great day!!
