You’re Friendship Means the World to Me – Honey Bee

Hello & happy friends!!! I have a friendship card to share with you for Honey Bee Stamps today!! The Friendship stamp set & Coordinating Honey Cuts include a couple of sweet longer sentiments, plus individual words and phrases for you to create your own. For today’s card, I combined one of the longer phrases with one that I created and used them both on the front of the card!! The longer sentiments would also be perfect for the inside of your card.

To begin, I pulled out some Distress Oxide Inks and a panel of watercolor paper to create a galaxy background. I thought the galaxy background worked well with the star sentiment. I used Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed and Black Soot Distress Oxides. I applied some each color onto my glass mat and diluted them with water, then smooshed the watercolor paper onto the mat, layering colors until I was satisfied. Some Perfect Pearls mixed with water, as well as some diluted white paint, was splattered onto the background. One of the Stacking Hearts Honey Cuts was cut from a navy cardstock panel that was trimmed slightly smaller than an A2 card base. The longer phrase from the Friendship stamp set was stamped onto the galaxy background with Versamark and white heat embossed toward the top of the heart. The second part of the sentiment, also from the Friendship set, was white heat embossed onto navy cardstock strips. The Friendship die-cut was cut from white cardstock and vellum using the Friendship Honey Cuts and adhered as shown. A few Be Mine Clay Hearts finish off the card.

That’s it for me today!! I had so much fun creating this card & can’t wait to use the other sentiments in these sets!!

I’ll see you soon!!
