You’re the Best Catch of All – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I have another masculine card to share with you today featuring goodies from the Adventure Awaits Release from Honey Bee Stamps!!

I started by die-cutting the Vintage Creel from cream, brown and gold cardstock. I added Vintage Photo and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks with blending brushes and sponge daubers to enhance the texture of the basket. The fish from the Lovely Layers: Rod and Reel Honey Cut Set were cut several times from white cardstock and inked with Bundled Sage, Stormy Sky and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks. The Wood Frame Builder Dies were also cut from cream cardstock and I used the same inks that I used on the creel to bring out the woodgrain.

For the background, I used the Fish Net Background Stencil with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush on white cardstock. The panel was adhered to a white card base and the frame was adhered to the outside with Bee Creative Glue. I added some faux stitching to the creel with a white gel pen, then adhered it together, popping up the front with foam tape. The fish were added inside the creel with a combination of Bee Creative Glue and foam adhesive, then it was adhered inside the frame with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the Hooked On You Stamp Set, was stamped with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. I used a black glaze pen to darken the fish’s eyes to finish it off.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
