You’re the Reason I Smiled Today – Honey Bee

Hello, fellow card makers and crafters!! I hope your week (& year) is off to a great start!! I’ve been organizing like crazy around the house!! There’s nothing like a new year to get you in the mood to get everything organized…am I right?

I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring the Love Is Ink the Air Stamp Set and Coordinating Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps.

I started by stamping the darling images from the Love Is In the Air Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. A yellow gen pen was used to add stamen to the flowers and a black glaze pen adds a bit of shine to the birds’ eyes.

I die-cut the cloud patterned paper from the Spring Lullaby Paper Pad with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base.

The sentiment, from the Inside: Kindness Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. The birdhouse, leaves and flowers were adhered flat to the front of the card with Bee Creative Glue. The two birds and sentiment were popped up with foam adhesive and this card was finished!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I appreciate you!!

Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
