Happy Monday, crafters!! Although we’re going into the autumn season, any season is perfect for an ice cream treat, if you ask me!! My card features the adorable Sweet Treats Stamp Set from Alex Syberia Designs!!

I began by stamping the darling images from the Sweet Treats Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I used the following Copic colors:
- Red: R59, R39, R29, R35
- Green: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG01
- Yellow: YR24, Y17, Y08, Y02
- Purple: V17, V15, V12, V01
- Orange: YR09, YR07, YR04
- Blue: B06, B04, B02
- Gray: N09, N07, N05, N03, N01
- Pink: R20
I added some shine to the eyes and noses with a black glaze pen and added highlights with a white gel pen.

For the background, I blended my favorite colors of Distress Inks to create a rainbow: Lumberjack Plaid, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet through the Whimsical Dots Stencil with a light hand using blending brushes. It was cut out with the largest scalloped die in the Whimsical Scalloped Frames Die Set, then splattered with diluted black dye ink. I trimmed a panel of black cardstock and adhered it to an A2 white card base. Once the splattered ink was dry on the rainbow panel, it was also adhered with liquid glue. I die-cut a piece of vellum using a smaller scalloped die from the Whimsical Scalloped Frames Die Set and adhered the Sweet Treat die-cut images to it with liquid glue, then adhered it to the background, adding glue only behind the die-cuts.

The sentiment is also included in the Sweet Treats Stamp Set. It was stamped onto black cardstock with clear embossing ink, then embossed with white embossing powder. After cutting it out with the Coordinating Die, it was popped up with foam squares. A sprinkling of clear confetti adds a bit of shine to finish off the card.

These little critters just make me smile!!
