Welcome to a fun Collab Hop with Picket Fence Studios and Pearblossom Press! Let’s get to my card, shall we?

I began by stenciling the Mini Haunted Moon Blending Stencil onto Bristol smooth cardstock using Shaded Lilac and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks and Life Changing Blender Brushes. I placed the circle from the stencil set over the moon and used blender brushes to apply Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks to create the creepy night sky. The Creepy Hollow Lantern Die was cut from glossy black cardstock and the ink-blended panel was trimmed down and adhered to the back.

The shadow die from the Creepy Hollow Lantern Die was cut from white cardstock. I figured out placement of the EZ-Light and adhered the lights behind the tree and the switch/battery to the bottom left of the lantern and secured it in place with Scor-Tape. I added foam tape to the back of the lantern and adhered it to the white shadow die. To create the shaped card base, I die-cut the shadow die again from a white top-folding card base, letting the top of the die hang over the fold. The lantern layer was adhered to the base with liquid glue.

The sentiments are from the Ghosts of Halloweens Past Stamp Set. They were stamped onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink and clear heat embossed for shine. The Coordinating Dies were used to cut them out. They were popped up on the front of the card with foam adhesive. “Push” was white heat embossed onto glossy black cardstock, trimmed and adhered over the switch so the recipient knows where to activate the lights.
