The Spring Meadow and Cheerful Meadow Dies were love at first sight!! I couldn’t wait to create with them!!

I began by die-cutting the Spring Meadow Die from white cardstock and blended two shades of green dye inks onto it with blending brushes. I die-cut a piece of pale blue gingham cardstock with the largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set and adhered the Spring Meadow die-cut to it with liquid glue.

Most of the dies in the Cheerful Meadow Die Set were also cut from white cardstock, with the exception of the black pieces on the ladybug and butterfly. I used blending brushes and a variety of dye inks to add color and shading, then adhered all the pieces to the background. I added a bit of detail to some of the flowers with a black fine line marker and the butterfly with a yellow gel pen.

The sentiment, from the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. It was die-cut with the Coordinating Die, along with two layers from heavyweight white cardstock and one layer from black cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with the black layer slightly offset, then added to the front of the card. Star Dust Stickles was added to some of the flowers for a little sparkle and shine.
