Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I’m sharing a card featuring a few of the new products from the new Bow-Ho-Ho Release from Alex Syberia Designs!! We’re also celebrating with a fun and inspiring Instagram hop today!! I’ll pop in a link at the bottom of this post so you can join the festivities over there!!

I started with my background. Since I wanted to use gel paste on the background, I wanted it to have time to dry while I worked on the other elements. I stenciled one layer of the Chic Bows Stencil Set onto a panel of pale pink cardstock using clear glitter gel. Once the first layer was dry, I stenciled the second layer onto it using the same gel.

Next, I die-cut the tree in the Build-A -Bow Christmas Tree Die Set from white glitter cardstock. The bows were cut from red, green and aqua cardstock using the same die set. I added a bit of shading to the bows with dye inks and detail blending brushes, then adhered each bow to the matching layer. The bows were adhered to the tree, adding liquid glue only behind the center of the bows. The top layer of the sentiment was die-cut from the same cardstock colors once using the Bow Ho Ho Frame Die Set and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from vellum. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue.

By this time the background was dry, so I die-cut it with the largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. The frame in the Bow Ho Ho Frame Die Set was cut from white glitter cardstock. All the elements were adhered to the background with liquid glue. Matching gems were added to the centers of each of the bows and this card was finished.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Be sure to hop on over to IG to participate in the hop and for your chance to win GCs to the Alex Syberia Shop!! You can get started on my @mypapercutcreations account!!
Have a wonderful week!!
I like the shading on the bows-an extra step that is so worth it to create depth. I have to try this color combo instead of my usual red and green. The blue seems to give even more life to the card.
