Hello, crafty friends!! We are celebrating The Ton’s Summer 2023 Release with a short blog hop!! (I’ll have a list of stops at the bottom of this post.) There are eight layering stencils and two stamp sets in the release, all with coordinating dies!!
I have two rose stenciled cards to share with you today!! The first one features the Rose Duo Stencil Set…
I started by blending Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Peach Blossom, Coralline, Coral Cavern, Raw Sea Glass, Vineyard and Everglade Moss inks onto white cardstock with the Rose Duo Stencil Set. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I also blended the same green inks onto white cardstock with the Rose Leaves Stencils and cut them out with the Coordinating Die.
For the background, I die-cut one layer of the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Die Set from white cardstock and layered it over an orange A2 panel. The stenciled die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment is from the new Script Notes Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir Ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and trimmed into a narrow strip, then popped up with foam adhesive. Soft Gold Gems were the perfect finishing touch.
My second card features the Jumbo Rose Stencil Set…
I blended Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink and Pink Derby inks onto white cardstock using the Jumbo Rose Stencil Set. The Rose Leaves Stencils were blended onto white cardstock using Caribbean Turquoise, Hot Tourmaline, Ocean Teal and True Navy inks. The Jumbo Rose Coordinating Die and Rose Leaves Coordinating Die were used to cut them out.
For the background on this one, I die-cut the Foliage Border Coverplate Die from aqua cardstock and adhered it to the front of an A2 white card base. The leaves and rose die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.
This sentiment is also from the Script Notes Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock using Noir Ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. Soft Pink Gems add a little sparkle and draw your eye to the sentiment.
These stencils have so much depth and dimension!!
As promised, here’s a list of stops on the hop:
Thanks so much for dropping by!! Have a great Wednesday!!
