Hello, friends and welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs Bow-Ho-Ho Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!! We’re celebrating the release of four new beautiful die sets and a fun layering bow stencil set!! I created a shaped card featuring the stunning Christmas Bouquet Die Set!! I love that it comes with the background outline die that you can use to easily place the die-cuts or you can use the die-cuts individually!! So versatile!!

I began by die-cutting the individual elements from red, green, teal, matte gold and white cardstock using the Christmas Bouquet Die Set. I added a bit of shading with dye inks using detail blending brushes.

The background panel and the outline die were both die-cut from black cardstock and all the die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue, except the top layer of the poinsettia petals, they were popped up with foam squares. The panel was splattered with diluted white bleed-proof ink. The card base was created by die-cutting the outline die from a white top-folding A2 card base and letting the die hang off the top folded edge of the card base.

The sentiment was created with the older Joy Die Set. The top layer was cut from white cardstock three times and the shadow layer once from matte gold cardstock and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked together, then adhered across the center of the card with liquid glue.
